Was it good! Oh yeah, Chris and Davis did some cool stuff. Built up enough of a fanbase to last 100+ issues. But at the same time, when I say "Excalibur" at a forum, I got those "What?!?" stares. Like people don't even recognize this as a valid team. This lack of love for my fav team book makes lotus sad. frown

Well... strictly speaking Excalibur wasn't that good. Like, it had its moments but... it had a tendency to descend into blah blah blah. It's really only good to fans of the characters. And since I'm only really a fan of one of the characters...

It started out really strong, but seriously went down the crapper shortly after Davis left.

After that it was touch and go, mostly dissapointing.

I liked some of it, but it was touch and go. Some was good, some was okay, some sucked. I liked the whole series on average, but there were some issues where I wanted to strangle the writers. wink

No matter where you go, no matter what you do, no matter what troubles you may encounter in life --- there are nine hundred million people in China who really couldn?t care less. So you might as well have a good time.
